#1 Bay of Kotor
One of the most famous and popular city of Montenegro. Visiting Kotor itself needs separate post which you can find here. In short it is recognised by authentic old town which has plentiful of activities. Also you can visit small charming harbour where you can find tours by speed boats or dine in nice restaurant. And a highlight of the city – Kotor fortress.
A postcard-like Venetian small town full of aged manors and magnificent churches. While you are here, visit the marvellous Our Lady of the Rocks reached by boat just nearby.
#3 OSTROG MONASTERY
Astonishing and miraculously engraved in the mountain, seventeenth-century Ostrog Monastery is one of the country’s most important place of travel.

A must see gorgeous lake and Balkans’ largest body of water, together with the opportunity to experience one of the finest birdwatching in southeastern Europe.

#7 Njegoš Mausoleum, Lovćen National Park
Mausoleum of Petar Petrović Njegoš, Montenegro’s most famous historical figure. From this site you can view most amazing landscape including Kotor bay! Just a note, be prepared to drive in serpentine road.
#8 tara canyon
Montenegro’s visit card – Tara bridge which enables astonishing passage through Tara canyon. The canyon is a valley formed naturally by the force of mighty earth and well worth a visit.
The incredible, roaring Tara River is an inspiring activity for this most exciting of adrenaline-driven adventure sports.
#10 blue cave
Hard to believe such places exist! Extraordinary and crystal clear water forms an unforgettable experience. Have a pleasant boat trip or even more extreme speed boat race to this marvellous place! Relaxing swim and the amazing view will charm you to the depts.
#11 black lake
Black Lake is the premium tourist attraction of the Durmitor area. The glacier lakes are connected by a narrow strait that dries up during the summer, creating two separate bodies of water.
#12 Hiking in durmitor
One of Europe’s least spoilt mountain areas, these natural mountains are Montenegro’s top hiking destination, with paths to accommodate various level hikers.
#13 Lipa cave
Explore one of 3 connecting caves which are breathing with excitement and quite a chilling ecosystem. Please be warned you need some warmer upper garment as there are 8 degrees Celcius all year round. Tours with professional guides and train ride available.
#14 Montenegro horseshoe bend
The Horseshoe Bend must be the most photographed spot in all of Montenegro and there is no reason to doubt, it is simply marvellous!
#15 grebaje valley
Corner of astonishing beauty. Wall-like mountains, surprising greenery and place for relaxing. On the other hand, there are plenty of hiking tracks with marvellous peaks and breathtaking scenery.
If you have not fallen in love yet, there might be a cure for you – Montenegrian wine. I strongly believe that this small contrasting country produces excellent quality wine and a glass of it will smooth your feelings towards this Balcan gem!
